Warmer... and Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Well, another week has passed and it's FINALLY going to warm up a little. Ben is really enjoying his job. He preached Sunday and baked cookies as part of his sermon illustration. At the end of the service, we gave out chocolate chip cookies that we made Saturday. Over 200 cookies... our house smelled wonderful! Just in case you haven't seen pictures of our house.... this is it. You will notice there's no snow around it. This picture was taken back in early November... before there was snow!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

Friends and family are always asking about the weather here. The locals say this year is colder and snowier than normal . It's sad because Karis wants to play in the snow, but it's too cold. This picture is of her first play time in the snow back in December. (Eventually, we hope to get this caught up to the present!)

We've never done a blog before... so be patient with us! We've decided to create it as a way to keep our friends and family up-dated on life in Wisconsin. Our official move was in December and we are now starting to adjust to life in the midwest. After ten years of southern living, we're experiencing a little culture and temperature shock!
